1. Choose the artwork
Happy with the car shown? Choose the pictured-car option. Want their own car, wheels and colour? Choose the own-car-from-photos option.
2. Send the details
Enter your wording on Etsy. For the own-car option, send 2–4 clear photos through Etsy Messages after ordering, with the make, model, model year, colour and details you want us to notice.
3. Check before we print
We send your design for approval. Check the car, spelling, registration and wording. We only print once you tell us you are happy with it.
Photos that help us get it right
- A clear front three-quarter view, plus side and rear views.
- Good daylight, with the whole car visible rather than cropped.
- A closer photo of distinctive wheels, badges or other details.
- Photos you own or have permission to use as artwork references.
Your wording checklist
- Garage or owner name, exactly as you want it printed.
- Registration, including every letter, number and space.
- The year for the EST badge.
- A short bottom message, or NONE if you do not want one.

A few things you might be wondering
Can I use their own car rather than the one pictured?
Yes — choose the own-car-from-photos option on the sign listing. The pictured-car option keeps the model, colour, body style and angle shown. Both options include your personal wording. If you are unsure about a particular car or photo, message us through Etsy before ordering.
Will I see the design before it is printed?
Yes. We send a design for you to check and wait for your approval before printing. Check the car details as well as every letter, number and space. One digital proof and one minor revision are included with the own-car option.
Is the EST year the same as the car's year?
It does not have to be. The EST badge uses the year you choose — perhaps their birth year or when the garage began. Tell us the car's model year separately so we can get the vehicle details right.
How long does a personalised sign take?
Processing takes 3–5 working days for both options, including design preparation and your manual proof approval within that same window. Printing follows approval. Postage transit is separate, so this is not a guaranteed arrival date. Check the current delivery options on Etsy before ordering.
